I really enjoy the book of Hebrews. I just finished reading through it last week. I especially like the last 5 chapters – so encouraging!!
So support… It has picked up some in the last half of June but definitely not enough. I feel like I need to work a lot harder than I am but I am not sure how exactly to do that with the amount of contact information I have left.
Would you pray that I get appointments with and referrals from people who’s contact information I do have left? Appointments and referrals are a huge part of support raising.
The last two Fridays I have made dinner for some friends at my parents house. It has been wonderful seeing friends and just hanging out with people. I think I forget how much I loved living among other students and believers in Oxford when I am away from them for a while, mostly because I like being at home right now. I am hoping to be able to see some friends again for the next two weekends.
There’s not too much to report on today but here are some encouraging highlights from the last couple of weeks:
- Seeing support come in from people who originally did not think they were in a place to partner with me for the upcoming school year
- Three monthly supporters in the last week!!
- Having two wonderful friends come in from Indianapolis for a few days and being able to connect with friends who were in Europe on Summer Project
- I scheduled an appointment to share my heart about my ministry with a guy
